In honor of FPMT’s 50th anniversary, the entire FPMT community is invited to join together in a Global Mani Retreat, helping to fulfill Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s Vast Vision of hosting 100 Million Mani Retreats around the world.
The global program includes online teachings with High Lamas and group practice sessions to generate merit, create the causes for Rinpoche’s swift return, and support the long life of His Holiness the Dalai Lama (and the mantra count will be offered to His Holiness at the end of the retreat).

Regional Mani Retreat Day
Saturday, July 18th, 2026 is a regional celebration day. There will be an event at the center for recitation in conjunction with the other centers and study groups in our area. This is also the date of the celebration of Choekor Duechen: Buddha Shakyamuni turned the Wheel of Dharma for the first time.

In 2026, Saka Dawa Duchen (the 15th day of the 4th Tibetan month) falls on May 31, with the entire holy month lasting from May 17 to June 15, 2026.
According to FPMT, this period commemorates Buddha Shakyamuni's birth, enlightenment, and parinirvana, with merit multiplied by 300 million times.
Join us on this holy day for prayers and a recitation of the Sutra Remembering the Three Jewels.
